| We are a small hobby farm in Ketchikan, AK. "O.K. so where's Ketchikan?", you ask. Ketchikan is located in SE Alaska on Revillagigedo Island in a moderate rain forest. We normally get around 150" of rain per year, making it an interesting and challenging project to keep any kind of livestock. We currently raise goats for dairy and meat purposes. Our goats are registered with the ADGA, ABGA, and USBGA and we raise Purebred and Grade Nubians, Experimentals, and some Boer crosses. We are much more interested in function than showiness and so breed for a good combination of meat and milk production for our own use. Oh, yea, and also for spots, because I like color! I know, I know, that isn't very functional, but we all have our little quirks. Our herd currently consists of eleven does, three PB Nubian bucks, three LGD's, and a very bossy English Shepherd. Our does are a 50% grade Nubian, two 50/50% Nubian/Oberhasli Experimentals, 50/50% Nubian/Saanen Experimental, five Purebred Nubians, a 72/28% Boer/Nubian mix, a 75/25% Boer/Angora mix, and a 75% Nubian/25% Oberhasli Experimental. This site is a work in progress, so please check back for updates. |

| December Update! Lately our Facebook page has been getting all the attention since it's the easy route. ;0P Our new LGD, Dreyfus, arrived safely in October and was soon joined by our second Spanish Mastiff, Almira. The picture to the left shows Ella with her two new cohorts. |
